Thought provoking! I had a realistic (not hyper realistic, more playful) wedding cake. We were married on a paddle wheeler boat and our cake was a replica of the boat. The topper was even the same as the topper in your photo of a wedding cake LOL!
My mom and mother in law made the cake. I wanted a home made one then decided I didn’t want to make it and delegated. They were up to the challenge!
